A Christmas story;
One of my first gifts was a fabulous fuzzy panda bear. I had that panda until I was eight years old, and then it simply disappeared. When I turned eighteen, it showed back up in my Christmas stocking. For all those years, it had been kidnapped and held by my Mother! As she tells the story, I had pretty much had worn ol’ Panda bare and she had taken him to protect him. No matter what story is true, my eighteenth Christmas was a truly special one.
Santa is on the move!

A countdown in seconds to the New Year

According to Scott Bourne, the Pope was quoted saying, “Beauty … can become a path toward the transcendent, toward the ultimate mystery, toward God,” and “In a world lacking in hope, with increasing signs of aggression and despair, there is an ever greater need for a return to spirituality in art.”
Have you ever just spotted a scene or object that just makes you stare at it? It might even capture your attention for days as you recall it. Well, it should not be surprising that the Pope said what he did for God created all that which captures our eyes and we try to copy or reproduce as art.
