Which do you prefer?

Maybe I shouldn’t have had that second glass of wine with lunch, but in my neck of the woods, “Breaking wind” means flatulence. But then again that same term could mean that a tree was a wind break (here in the boonies, farmers planted trees around their barns and homes to create a ‘wind break’) and this is what this old solitary tree was once part of, a wind break. If ya look at the tree in the pix, the upper most branch seems to point to where it wants the clouds (i.e. the wind) to break at. Hence the obnoxious title for this picture.
If you don’t like the pix, I at least hope you are smiling ’cause you are thinking about “Breaking Wind”
That’s my story and I am sticking to it!
Ah, Politics. With Massachusetts electing a Republican to replace Ted Kennedy, they now have enough votes so that the Democrats can not steam roll them over with the proposed Health Care bill. So at this time, the poor soul that does not have an employer provide insurance or if he/she can not afford $500 or more a month for health insurance is still screwed. Who is the real winner of the health care debate debacle? The health insurance companies. Plain and simple, do you think that the insurance companies have not been spending billions to prevent or influence the health care plan? Bet your sweet bippy they have. And who is paying for their expenses? You are, the folks that have insurance. All that has happened so far with politicians getting involved in the health care parade is that a few political’s have thicker wallets (yes, some of that money that you are spending on health insurance is now in a politician’s campaign funds) and that some folks that can not afford health care have died. No, that is not an exaggeration. Folks are dieing while politicians and insurance companies get rich.
Have you ever made a decision on the flip of a coin? Well, if not, maybe you do not believe in taking a chance every once in awhile. But if you are the sort that will wake and ask yourself, “Hmm, should I wear the red shirt or the blue one?” and can not make up your mind (caffeine hasn’t kicked in yet), then sometimes you will let fate/chance make the decision for you by flipping a coin. If that is you, then I have a treat for ya. Random.org has a virtual coin flipper to solve your dilemma. Of course I like to use the $50 US coin, but you can choose from just about any coin in the world. Heck, you can even toss multiple coins at the same time!
Give it a try, what will you have for lunch today?
Pizza or another salad?
I found a website that has posted pictures of a Polar Bear attacking a zoo keeper. They say that no one even tried to help or stop the attack. I forwarn you, the pictures not for anyone with a weak stomach, but they are must see shots! Click here now that you have been warned.
