Rod,
we are looking for someone to keep track of the sports page for us.
Colorado Rockies Pitcher Aaron Cook
The Rockies are, well, being the Rockies again this year. They are fourth in the division, but this year so far, they have yet a winning season. What is also normal for the Rockies are their pitching woes. Except for a few flashes of respectablity, they suffer with the entire staff. Aaron Cook, pictured left, did manage to close out the game against the Brewers the other night with the Rocks winning. Another woe to the home team is thier website that has more popups than the team. Do not go to their site! You can catch some internet coverage at ESPN.

Can Lance Armstrong win yet another Tour de France? It would be the best news from France in a long time. Speaking of time, they only have about 3 more weeks of this ironman bicycle race left. Just about the right amount of time. Fox Sports

Denver Broncos are trying out a new long ball snapper and a new punter. No news there, but what if the tryouts were for just one guy? That's right, Mike Leach is trying out for both positions. Not only that but the Broncs have him lining up on the offensive line as a tightend and in the backfield as a fullback! What does Leach say about it all? "I just want to hide," Leach said. "If no one knows who I am when I'm snapping, that's what I'm shooting for."

The British Open begins next week, where is Tiger? At home, where else? With everyone scrambling to get climatized, centralized, and what-ever-else-lized, Tiger staying out of the glitz at home preparing for the Open there. If Tiger comes home with the trophy this year, I imangine that the British tourisim board will have to work for a living with all of the golf pros staying home until the 'Game-is-on'.  ESPN Sports
