| The Rockies are, well, being the Rockies again this year. They are fourth in the division, but this year so far, they have yet a winning season. What is also normal for the Rockies are their pitching woes. Except for a few flashes of respectablity, they suffer with the entire staff. Aaron Cook, pictured left, did manage to close out the game against the Brewers the other night with the Rocks winning. | Denver Broncos are trying out a new long ball snapper and a new punter. No news there, but what if the tryouts were for just one guy? That's right, Mike Leach is trying out for both positions. Not only that but the Broncs have him lining up on the offensive line as a tightend and in the backfield as a fullback! What does Leach say about it all? "I just want to hide," Leach said. "If no one knows who I am when I'm snapping, that's what I'm shooting for." |
